		<description>Over the past 100 years, the town&#039;s population has dropped considerably. More recently, it&#039;s been a sort of slow, steady decline. Some of the outlying areas in our county have actually seen an increase, due to retirees building lakefront homes, etc. But high school graduates continue to leave and never come back. Like most rural areas, we hemorrhage young people.</description>
